How to Install Free Trading System in MetaTrader 4 (MT4): A Step By Step Guide

You must follow some simple processes to install the forex trading system in your MetaTrader 4. Without any delay let’s get started.

Step 1: Download Your Trading System

First of all, you have to figure out which trading system you want to download. At the bottom of the article, you will see a download button. Click it and download the plan.

Step 2: Extract the Downloaded Files and Copy Ex4 files to the Indicators Folders

Once you download the trading system file, extract it. Copy Ex4 and MQL4 files under the indicators folder and paste them to MetaTrader>Files>Open Data Folder> MQL4 >Indicators folder.

Step 3: Refresh the Navigator Pane

Once the indicators are copied to the indicators folder, go to MT4 and hit Ctrl+N to open the navigator window. Right-click in the navigator window and select Refresh.

Step 4: Load the Template

The template does the job of installing the forex trading system easier. You do not have to load every indicator individually; the template will do it for you. Once you refresh the navigator window you will see your indicators list there.

Now, to load templates, right-click on the main chart window and select a template and choose the load template option. Allocate the template file (.Tpl file) which comes with your downloaded system. Once you load your template, you will see your favorite forex trading system at work.

Sometimes if the system doesn’t work as it should, you must restart your MT4.
